The Cheese
The beauty of a website is that I can just use this as my blogging test bed. Until I fully flesh out the BrainsOnPaper platform, have fun enjoying some of my thoughts!
My brain is a little weird, and occasionally I'll write it down on "paper". BrainsOnPaper (BOP) would be a blogging site where authors can let their thoughts flow freely. However, my wrinkle is versioned drafts that the reader could opt-in to viewing. Essentially, after a certain amount of time spent not typing a version is saved. I know some fans of content creators want to know as much about that person/group as possible, and I feel they would benefit from seeing the full thought process that creator, rather than only seeing their final product. A behind-the-scenes if you will!
Formulating thoughts into text has it's downsides though. As we've seen repeatedly in 2020, you really need a full context to relay information accurately. We all have our inner monologues that are shaped by our experiences, and if you don't know who the writer it can be difficult to interpret their mannerisms and speech patterns. Once I realized this flaw (And the colossal pain in the a** it'd be to get a blogging platform up and running) I came up with BrainsOutLoud.
